I know of cinemas, but I never go so this is a no-no for me. Someone on another site also suggested Faith (the shoe shop), but I checked to no avail.
Have people see them anywhere else for free? Doesn't matter if they have promotional stuff on the front. Alternatively, suggestions of where I can buy packs of pretty ones (not plain white) for ultra-cheap?!
Any ideas are greatly appreciated!

Some trendy pubs, bars and restaurants have them, usually right outside where the toilets are. Of course, you'll probably have to go in and have a drink (unless it's really crowded), but if you might go out anyway, it's worth a look.0 -
Paperchase had postcards 10 for £1 last week in their sale (Brighton shop).
Also, if you have any old Christmas/birthday cards hanging around then just trim them to size. They won't cost you a penny then and you'll be recycling too!!0 -
Hi there,
Ebay is good for postcards, deffo cheaper than the cinema: try this link for 100 postcards (not my auction by the way)

Alternatively you could ask your friends to pick some up if they go to the flicks.
Hope this helps a bit:A :

Try Wilkinson, they certainly used to have plain ones quite cheap.
I got 4 (or maybe 6) free postcards with the free trial from Mills and Boon, along with 2 free books which we gave to my bf's mum with her christmas present.
Have you tried common areas at Uni/the library? Our library had a stand with them on and I think they were in the cafe too.0 -
They used to have pads of postcards for publicity purposes at the Nationwide Building Society ?don't know if they still do. Could be worth asking.

Vistaprint often do "free postcard" offers, where you just pay for postage. The slowest delivery option (21 days, although when I last ordered some at this they came within 10days) is just £3.08+54p tax = £3.62
The nice thing about this is you can customise it to your own choosing, with either your own photo on the front, or pick one of their templates. When customising the reverse, either pick BLANK (completely blank on reverse) or GREYSCALE (printed in b&w) as otherwise the colour reverse print will be extra.
If it's not got the option for FREE postcards on the site when you look, add yourself to their mailing list.... they do send out quite alot of mailings (i've had 3 this week...), but plenty of them are for their free offers, I ignore any for the £1 sale as it's likely to cost nothing in their next email :rotfl:
Vistaprint also do other things like magnets and calendars, and with regular free offers where you just pay postage it's good for local groups, or family gifts for kids birthday parties or the like.
I can forward you an email of theirs if you'd like, just pm me your email address.:rotfl:0 -
Your Students' Union will probably have a rack of freebies - mine does!
