M&S bargain beauty!

Just been into my local M&S and wanted to report that they are now doing a range of beauty products (coconut, aloe vera, cocoa butter and vanilla etc.) for a pound each! Just got two coconut body butters for £2 (obviously!). I love the Body Shop ones but they have just gone up to £12 each from a tenner and I'm seriously budgeting....not sure the M&S ones will be as nice but surely can't be 12x worse?!

I asked if this was a special price and was told it appears to be the real price. I know the aloe vera body cream used to be £2.75 a pot...

I have loads of M&S beauty bits... I stocked up on make up when I worked there as their basics range is about £2.50 per item, and I got 20% staff discount! I also got some Per Una and Autograph stuff, so I can look all pretty when I'm doing my OS chores!

Yes, I work for M&S and our Beauty Products are so underated they are a rare gem and as good a quality as the cosmetic counter in the department stores.

I've got loads of smellies too and was being so good at 'unsing them up before I buy more' but panicked incase the £1 price wasn't fixed!!

The assistant who served me wasn't absolutely sure so if you want a bargain, might be better to grab it just incase!

Isn't one of the M&S ranges made by the same people as Clarins or Clinique?

I think that one is supposed to be very like Clarins - I can picture it but can't remember the name....the box is very like Clarins too.

I read somewhere that M&S is doing lots of 'copies' of different expensive brands. Think there's a Jo Malone style one coming soon. (Or is that Tesco?)
