Christening this w/e but gift not ready till next year - how do I present it?

My OH will become a godfather this weekend. As a gift we are buying some vintage port (likely to be Taylors) from her birth year. It won’t be declared a vintage until mid next year so we won’t have anything to hand over. Any ideas as to how we could present it?
(as his god daughter at the age of 10 months won’t care about vintage port we are also going to buy her something she is interested in – probably some nice books)

Perhaps a personalised small bottle of fizz (can pick them up quite cheap, i got one for one of my friends 18th for her to keep and another bottle she could drink). You could either personalise the label for the christening or put what the gift is on the label?
Sorry if this is no help, but then you could present that bottle in a really nice case etc. so it looks really special.0 -

You could jazz up your voucher, not sure if you have the time, but you could get some coloured stiff card, fold to make a booklet type thing, and embellish/decorate as you wish, and put the voucher inside (stapling it in place, on the left hand side) and fastening it closed with a piece of ribbon?0
