Anybody got a decent roast chicken recipe

melt some butter and add salt, pepper and if you have some garlic, add a clove (uncrushed)
just brush the chicken in it, and keep doing that every 10-15 mins when cooking. very moist and not a horrible overpowering flavour!
(saying this i dont eat meat, ive been veggie for 11 years, but my partner tells me if something is nice
)
