I bought one a few years ago, but after trying it was not happy and took it back. I found the bread rather heavy, and as I am on a constant diet, the smell of new bread was a temptation I could do without. Didn't like the hole it made in the bottom where the mixer blades sit, found that the middle of the loaf was not good for sarnies.
I know there will be millions of you out that who think they are marvellous, but be honest folks how many are sitting with one in the cupboard used at first and then now gathering dust?

I love my panasonic 253 breadmaker, it is used every day and the hole at the bottom of the loaf doesnt bother us! slicing bread is no prob, u can get a adjust-a-slice from lakeland or a evenslice.
Have a look on ebay or freecycle, usually a lot on there.
