I work for a national charity, and I support adults with a learning disability to find what work they want to do, then help them to do it :j Official title 'job trainer'. Love it, love it, love it - just wish it paid more considering the stuff we do - I found out the other week occupational therapists do a lot of the training work we do, and we do a lot not in our job descriptions... Always the way though...

I'm a Careers Adviser working with adults. You can get free careers guidance from these organisations.

    http://www.nextstep.org.uk/

    http://www.learndirect-advice.co.uk/helpwithyourcareer/

I won't say which one I work for but all their services are free and can offer you the help you need.

I always advise recent graduates to use this website.

It's very thorough and informative, covering many areas and aspects of graduate employment. Get professional advice and guidance as well as talking to friends and contacts. Try for a job that's satisfying and/or challenging rather than enjoyable. (That last bit's a personal opinion.)
