Charity shops in London

Hi All,

Not sure if I'm in the right place but my boyf and I are going to fancy dress party and we'd like to crawl a few charity shops on the weekend, maybe ending up in the pub.

I'd like to go somewhere with a few good options for shopping - somewhere like Camden High Street or Streatham - because we haven't got time to spend ages on costumes. I'd like to go and get it done in one day.

Where do you go for charity shops in London? Shout your favourite areas, I'd love to hear your suggestions!

Thanks Stompa, I had been that page a few times before but it's a bit old, and it would be nice to have some personal recommendations as well.

Apparently the weekly car boot sale at Pimlico is good, or so my sister says!

Don't forget Primark are now selling the 'ELVIS' all in one suits for only £3.
Good for fancy dress then wear around the house casual like....................
