Building Survey after mortgage offer?

If we have this now (after we have our mortgage offer based on valuation survey only), would it have any impact on the mortgage offer or are they not interested?

It would be an independant one...

As above, but you probably would have saved yourself some money if you had had it done at the same time as the valuation.

  • [FONT=&quot]No it won’t have any impact on the mortgage offer! But then you could have saved some cash had you been a little pro active and agile with this when it just got started!

Unlikely most lenders "load" the cost of full surveys, so often it is cheaper to have the lenders basic valuation, then get a full survey done independently, also some lenders such as Abbey who offer free valuations will then charge you the full cost of a full structural, rather than reducing it by what a basc would have cost them.
