DSG Insurance Replacement Card - Phones4u?

Hi, first post here so go easy!
I recently recieved my DSG Insurance Replacement Card which says its to be spent in Currys, Currys.Digital or PCWorld.
I claimed insurance on a stolen iPod and they sent out the card. However i have another perfectly working iPod that i can use and was looking to spend the voucher on a phone (old one was also stolen - not been a good month!) which i couldnt claim on my travel insurance.
Was looking through the Currys website and it seems that Phones4u have some sort of link with Currys - sort of like they do the mobile phone part of the website. Would it be possible to use the replacement card in Phones4u?
Another reason why i think this might be possible is that the advert on the website is advertising a gift voucher for currys, currys.digital and PCWorld.
Is it worth going along to a store and checking?

There are Phones4U stores inside Mega stores but you cannot use your insurance card in Phones4U. Different systems.0
