Does anyone know if this is just at Tesco Extra stores? Love your idea suziewuzie of a casserole starter pack.

    NO it isn't ! :)

Got mine in a "normal large store" .. a Superstore ?

Not classed as a Metro or Express but definitely not an EXTRA !

Just back from my local tescos and managed to get the last two thanks to the description of what I was looking for.

Went to the SS and put one through and the till beeped for assistance. Nearly died, but a young SA came over and flashed his card, and let me carry on. All he said was make sure you double bag the items as the carrier bags aren't very strong.
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000

I've just picked up 7 for 56p :rotfl:

Only 2 of them had the "correct" 8p barcode but the SA scanned a "cheap one" and put in quantity 7 ......

... and it's not exactly a customer's job to be aware that exactly identical products may have different barcodes that might affect the price :) ..... is it ? :D:grin:
You must do a lot of cooking to use 7!!:)

Cook a full main course meal from scratch using fresh fish or fresh meat with fresh veg or fresh fruit (needs peeling, slicing, dicing etc.) at least 5 times a week.
Also bake bread, cakes, biscuits, make pasta and various desserts once or twice a week.

Also for the last 3 years done a full Xmas turkey roast with ALL (and I mean ALLLLLLL!!) the trimmings including home-made Christmas cake (started making this year's about a month ago) and mince pies for 35 to 40 people.

i picked up three and thought about doing this but went to SS instead.......
SS till screamed assistance required, SA nowhere to be seen so i legged it, off to a manned till and left 2 in my trolley and gave her one to scan while i distracted her by complementing her on her lovely tattoo (not!) afterwards kicking myself for not putting all 5 in my trolley, oh well you live and learn, anyway i was already sweating so much, if i'd put all 5 in my trolley the puddle of pee under me by the till might have been a giveaway :rotfl:

i got the last 2 on the shelf at T*p V*lley....went through SS no probs til the SA spotted the price and had a hissy fit saying it cant be right, shes got to check it...i just replied 'of course its right, its gone through the till like that - what,do you think i've printed my own barcode for it!'...she then said she had to go and check with someone...so i paid and left :)
hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!

Thank you for the barcode. went yesterday and scanned one but was at the higher price. Today armed with the barcode found 2 out of four with the correct one. didn't have the nerve to take all four and try it with a SA.
The SA did notice the price and asked if it was on the label I just said yes and she carried on.

sel was 8p in my local last night...

i say was, because a staff member removed the label while i was looking for them, and told me in no uncertain terms they would not go through the till at 8p.... he had a box of them under his arm which he took with him though... sneeky monkey :D
