Hi
Looking for some advice / thoughts on our chances of getting accepted for a mortgage application,
Looking to go with Santander as have found them to have a good deal on.
There are a few things that worry me about our chances of being accepted for the mortgage as below
Im 23 working in finance and have held current position for 6 months – passed probation and earn 20kpa – held previous role for 5 years in a different company but doing the same job.
I relocated to live with my partner of 3 years only 6 months ago and previous to that was in rented accomodation for 8 months previous to that lived with parents – registered at all 3 addresses.
I have a car loan which is £199 per month and also 2k on a 0% credit card.
Partner is in armed forces and has been for 15 years earns 38kpa – has a mortgaged property but lender has given us permision to let the property out indefinatley due to his status as being in the armed forces.
He has a car loan for £250 per month and also pays £250 child maintence.
We have only recently both got the cars and have credit searches showing in the last 3 months so this worries me when applying for a mortgage along with the fact ive only been in new job and new address 6 months.
We are looking to buy for 170k with a 10% deposit.
Any thoughts or advice is welcome.
Thanks

Can't see anything wrong.

Nothing looks problematic to me, although pay off the credit card if you can.0
