Bad Credit but good income

  • If you are not on the electoral roll, you have no chance of getting a loan off any company. You only course would be someone like Joe the Axe or Knuckle Duster Mike who lend money at extortion rates of interest, but I would not recommend that road.

Thanks for the advice, but when you put in bad credit loans on google there are so many companies that come up. I know i will pay a premium for having poor credit but i dont want to get ripped off.

And absolutely none of them will find you the loan you want.
-Most will be payday loan companies.
-A lot will be brokers who will charge you an upfront fee and then find you no loan (or nothing but a payday loan).
-Some will be scammers who will try to get your bank details from you or get you to pay a fee via wester union.
-Some will be loans requiring a guarantor.

  • if you move every year, is moving somewhere with public transport an option? So many debt problems seem to stem from people insisting on living somewhere with no buses so they need two cars.

    I really dont know.

I rent, and move around alot (usually every year if not 18 months) so i never register on the roll. I think that might be the main issue. But i also have some loans from LloydsTSB which are quite old now but may still be on the file.

I havent looked at my file in a while as im really worried about what i will find...sad i know.

No Credit Cards, parents a no no.

Are you saying that you have not repaid these loans?

If you've got a good income and can repay 2.5k in six months then surely you can afford to buy an old banger at a couple of hundred and limp along for the time it'll take to save up for something better? Even without adding in interest you'll be paying back over £400 a month.

I know someone who bought a car for £325 in January and it's still going strong, even with a few long runs of a couple of hundred miles under his belt.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

car craft, but go for a couple year old one.
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.
