Standard Life Endowment - options?

Hi, I've got a Standard Life endowment, taken out in 1991, 25 year term.
target amount of 69,000, current surrender value of about £27,500, guaranteed amount of £33,000 at maturity, with a mortgage endowment promise of between £5,800 and £8,700.....but possibly nothing.

Is there any way of reasonably predicting the size of the MEP? I'm debating whether to surrender the policy.

Many thanks.

Thanks McNeff, I think I'm adequately insured, so I don't think that's an issue in this case.
For a numpty like me, the appearance, or not, of the MEP seems to be a mystery?
