hey peeps,

on the hunt on behalf of the mrs to be. She has seen some shoes in John Lewis but before she dives in and pays (we pay ) was kinda hoping there might have been a way to get them with a discount or code etc but im struggling to find anything.

Have you peeps managed to get things cheaper from John Lewis and could you share your tips?

Not sure about the vouchers or anything but you can usually get some bargains on ebay.

I got a pair of rainbow club shoes that cost something like £75 or £80 in store on ebay for £13 including postage. They were brand new, just ex display from a bridal shop.

So there are bargains to be had. Why not post a photo and let the ladies in here see if we can find them cheaper. We love a bargain challenge.

yeah they are rainbow shoes and called "lizzie" she says. £69 in John Lewis which are bit costy for 1 days use. I know people say you could sell afterwards but there is always the risk they wont sell etc.

She does keep and eye on ebay but nothing as of yet. Amazon have them for £63 ish inc delivery but they are wrong size.

Dont supopse there maybe any JL staff on here is there?

JL tend to do special offer events rather than discount codes.
You could always look for JL vouchers on ebay first - might get a bit of a discount that way.

There are Rainbow Shoes in the sale here, if she knows that Rainbow Club size x with a 8.5" heel are comfortable perhaps she'd be happy with another style that you could check on eBay for?

I've had a quick google and all the John Lewis codes seem to have ended 9th October ;-(

I've also googles a few rainbow stockists and none have a sale and the price for Lizzie varies from 69 to 75.

If she loves them, I'd be inclined to get them.................... not very mse I know. Could she not wear them again? or sell them on preloved?
