Post office credit card loan facility
I have searched for it!
i had this spelt out to me this morning.. on the leaflet it says that a PO credit card has;
Lower interest rate and payment plan
* buy something for £500 to £2,000 on your card and give us a call
* we move it to our Payment Plan special fixed rate of 6.8% p.a.
* pay for up to two purchases this way spread over 12 months
* with one monthly statement showing your card and Payment Plan.
the woman explained it like this. So basically you buy a sofa for £1000. You ring up PO credit card and tell them you want to put it on a payment plan. on that payment plan you'd pay a rate of 6.9%. you can do this up to 2 purchases and your credit limit too.
The rate is pretty low for a loan of that amount and for 12months. Also because the loan is already 'built in' you don't need to apply for it.
The leaflet product code is 162427X and number is 0800 169 2000
Hope that helps

Mind you, if you can get accepted for a post office card, you can probably get a 0% for 12 month deal from Sky, &More or GE which is even lower rate cos it is zero!
R.Smile, it makes people wonder what you have been up to.
