Anyone work for Excel Telemedia?help/info please!!

Hiya, i have posted a few comments etc on other posts but have not had any luck so i thought i'd post a thread :)

basically I want to sign up as a sex chat operator for excel telemedia. I have researched it and they sounds like a very good company so i have filled out my application form and am just about to send it but would like some advice from someone that works with them already.

My number one thing is the interview. I've read you only get 2 attempts at the phone interview and that you have to act out a scenario like it's with a customer-is this true? Also, what sort of scenario is it or do they all vary?

I'd really like to work for them as i need the extra money and feel i would be very good once i get going as im very broad minded and kinda used to that sort of thing (from personal experiences with boyfriends etc though :o) I'm just worried i'll freeze on the phone at the interview stage by panicking over whether i'm saying the right thing and i'll muck up :(

Thank you, any help and advice welcomed!!

  • Why not :) You could do that while typing on MSE or while watching eastenders (muted and subtitles) of course, might be difficult to keep your focus when I juicy part of the story comes up though - Eastenders ;)

Don't get yourself worried about it. Just go for it and good luck. Why don't you phone one up and see what they do? Would cost you loads for it though.

I'd get nervous in case I recognised the voice though lol.
 Thank you to everyone!

  • i have worked for them for nearly 2 years now. they are a very good company to work for and totally flexible on hours, basically you log in when you want for how long you want. the onterview is a fairly new thing. i didn't have to do it but the person you will be talking to is lovely and will put your mind at ease. just think of a sexy scenario and talk your way through it describing what you want to do to them in detail. if the questions are still part of the interview as long as you read the guidebook they send beforehand you will be fine, basically just common sense really.
i was so nervous the first time i logged on but after the first few calls you'll be surprised how easily you slip into filth mode. you do have to be very broad minded though but i love, it's great fun.

I would say if you can't envisage getting passed the interview stage, what on earth will you be like talking to the men?
I have worked for them since 2005 and take home approximately £600 a month! This includes me doing text chat too as well as the live chats.
I disagree about the interview thing being a new thing. I had to do one back in 2005. They can't just employ anybody on the phone lines. They have to make sure that the operators can hold the calls, use imagination and have a strong constitution and won't laugh when a man says he is wearing his girlfriend's knickers or he wants to worship your feet.
  • I once did have a caller I knew once lol, it was funny cos I knew he was him but he didn't knew I was me cos I was undercover using my fake persona and name etc.

  • i have to agree with medwaymaiden!!
ive been reading this site for years and amazed at the amount of threads theres been in the past about excel telemedia, ive worked for them since 2004 full time good money etc,
however you do need a good imagination and if the interview is causing you problems yOu would have severe problems with the actual calls but the main reason i have registered on this site is this
if you are lucky enough to get taken on noW im taking about anyone in general thats thinKing of applying , one of the main rules and regulations is, DO NOT DISCUSS EXCELS BUSINESS OR ITS WORKINGS ANYWHERE, thats including this forum!!!
that also includes discussing the interviews etc,
