Starting 2 Plan & working out a Budget - Advice!

Hello All,
Myself and my lovely fiancee are hoping to get married in the summer of 2013.
We've run through a few rough numbers of 50 at the actual wedding ceremony, plus an extra 50-60 at night.
I've been researching various venues in the local area online and am awaiting some further information about them/prices etc. Also, we've yet to decide upon a church - either a village where my parents live or alternatively, the village where my OH's parents live.
Currently, we're looking at having 2 bridesmaids, 1 flower girl, 2 best men, 1 page boy, the 2 Dads, 4 ushers - basically that includes all the close family we have, not including the mothers obviously!
Already, I fear costs are going to get a bit out of control. We both have good jobs and some savings - so we've set ourselves an approximate budget of 7k. 2k each at the moment, saving another 2.5k over the next year. Plus, I think our parents might help us out although that's unconfirmed as yet. Do you think that's enough of a budget? [Probably won't include a honeymoon, we're thinking of delaying this until xmas 2013].
I'm loving the research and getting ideas, just a bit eeek about the budget/expense!
Any help would be gratefully received!
Thanks,
Alipops xx

Congrats alipops
researching is a fun part of your wedding it gives you ideas on what you want and don't want. I wouldn't worry too much about the budget...as losingpatience has said there are many people on varied budgets...and your on here so plenty of advice when you need it. Given that your wedding is going to be in 2013 it may be better to pay for things as you go along..things like venues and stuff maybe? suits and dresses are probably best off waiting till nearer the time as especially the younger ones will grow.
research on here is fun as you see what others are doing, plenty of ideas and time to get sorted ..good luck and welcome to the wedding bit
