I have just very unsuccessfully used flora in a crumble topping- its like dough! Is this because its too soft? Is there anything I can use it for now? Seems like such a waste and very un :money:!!
I have now topped my crumble with some oats, a bit of syrup and hoping for luck! Ran out of butter and can't get any as kids in bed!

Will it roll? Try rolling and cutting it into biscuits. If not rollable, try to crumble it into small bits onto a baking tray and cook - it might turn out like crispy crumble to top fruit. You never know!Think big thoughts but relish small pleasures0

We prefer the topping made with flour rather than flour and oats or just oats. To make mine I use butter (melted), sugar and flour mixed together until crumbly. I also add in a little cinnamon and nutmeg and sprinkle this over my fruit. Bake in the oven until topping is browned and fruit is soft and bubbly.0

My apples picked tonight, havent even made it as far as a crumble, they have just been eaten as stewed apples with ice cream and no added sugar.
