Changing to Fixed rate on DMP help

hi i am currently on a dmp with cccs and i would like to try to fix my variable mortgage rate that i have before they start to move up,i really need a 95% mortgage as i do not have a lot of equity in my home anymore-currently with C&G and paying 2.5% interest ,they are doing some 95% deals fixed for 3 or 4 years witch would tie me over to my DMP would nearly be finished.
now as i am on a DMP its possible that the likes of HSBC have made a default on my credit scoring so would this effect me even thou i am NOT changing mortgage lender i want to stay with C&G would they still do credit check
thanks all

I think your only hope would be too ask your current lender if you can move onto another fixed rate with them as they will not credit check you to borrow the same amount.
I would say the likelihood any mainstream lender would lend you a 95% mortgage is pretty slim, default or not your credit record will show arrangements to pay on all your debts within your DMP."You've been reading SOS when it's just your clock reading 5:05 "0 -
