I've had laser, but the hair does grow back eventually :(
Not sure if your skin type will be compatible with laser as it works best when skin is pale and hair is dark.
Electrolysis would be better (not had it), but it's more time consuming, but afaik it does get rid of hairs permanently.
Not sure where you should go, reputable salons?

Theres so many around I wanted to know if anyone knew good ones. Electrolysis seems to be cheaper and perm as well. So I'm going to give that a go this week. All the good places I'm going to have to travel into london so add on an extra 7 pounds for travel alone! but i really just want to take the step and do it

I had electrolysis on my eyebrows. It was a long commitment and I went every 3/4 weeks for about a year and a half. No regrets and very pleased with the result. So nice not to have to pluck now as I used to get a bit obsessive about it and often had to disguise lots of redness and blotchiness.

I had electrolysis on my upper lip. I had it for about 2 to 3 years. It is very time consuming as only a few hairs at a time can be removed. I also found that sometimes I developed a reaction to the treatment. I have been left with a few marks where I had electrolysis. I don't know if it is the skill of the operator or not. Hope this helps.
  • I had very good results from laser hair removal. I still have to go once or twice a year but the few hair coming back is very fine and I could live with it no problem. I went to Renew Medica, they are all over London.
