Terms and conditions:

1. One winner will be randomly selected on the 30st October 2011.
2. The prize will be one cheesecake up to a value of £495.00
3. No purchase necessary.
4. Entrants must be aged 18 years or over and resident in the United Kingdom.
5. The winner will be contacted by both e-mail and telephone on or around the 1st November 2011 when the competition has closed to arrange an agreed delivery date/address.
6. The prize can only be delivered to a UK address. The English Cheesecake Company will agree a delivery date with the winner. This will be free standard delivery not express delivery.
7. It is very important that someone is at the address you have specified to sign for the delivery. We are unable to the leave the cake at the address without obtaining a signature, our perishable goods will not be redelivered and the prize will be forfeited and a replacement/refund will not be sent. You will be notified as soon as possible on the day should this happen, as it may be possible for you to collect the cakes from the couriers nearby depot, however, we cannot be held responsible should this not happen on the agreed date of delivery as the cakes will have then defrosted at the couriers depot.
8. Our cakes are delivered frozen, packed in a heavy duty polystyrene container with individually wrapped dry ice and arrive via an independent courier service.
9. All cheesecakes arrive frozen and must be thawed in a refrigerator for a minimum of 8 hours (size dependant).
10. Once thawed, the cheesecakes can be stored in a fridge and covered for between 2 and 4 days
11. Employees (and their families) and agents of The English Cheesecake Company are not eligible to enter.
12. No more than one entry per person.
13. Automated entries will be discarded.
14. The English Cheesecake Company reserves the right to reject any entry on reasonable grounds.
15. Entrants agree that their personal details may be stored by The English Cheesecake Company for the purposes of administering the competition. These will not be passed onto any third party (other than for fulfillment of the prize).
16. There is no cash or alternative equivalent to the prize.
17. The English Cheesecake Company may withdraw or cancel the competition at any time without notice.
18. By entering the competition entrants agree to indemnify The English Cheesecake Company against all liabilities, expenses, damages and legal costs arising out of any claims connected directly or indirectly with the competition.
