Today I got trouted
Tried to buy some veg pots in Sainsburys and the girl on the checkout said she needed to call a super because she didn't recognise the coupons. Super read in great detail the coupon and said I couldn't use it because the veg pots are already on offer. To be fair I was aware it did say not to be used with other offers but so many people seem to be able to, and as they are full price I thought it would be OK. I then asked if I could put the 'free' ones back and just get my free ones, one for each free coupon. She said 'no!', because they would scan as BOGOF so I couldn't use the vouchers even then, despite me not 'getting' the free one. Couldn't get the 360 surround brush either as that is on offer.
Not impressed and it has really put me off Sainsburys as I got trouted last time too. Had no issues in Tesco or Asda with any MOCs, M&S WYS accepted no problem.
I told my husband that, with veg pots in particular, who in their right mind is going to buy them when they are on full price? Therefore, surely they will nearly always be on offer.
I think you were just really unlucky with that assistant, I would have left the entire shop on the belt and went elsewhere after politely thanking her.
In general I find most of the assistants to be really nice and some to be bloomin fantastic - so dont be put off, some make sure to remember that assistants face and avoid her in future at all costs.

I've printed off a couple of the £1 Philly vouchers from FB, then thought I'd print some off on DH's log in. Have clicked on the link and I get a msg saying:

This application does not yet support secure browsing (HTTPS). Learn More
Learn more isn't really helpful as just talks about secure browsing. How can I bypass this? Strange thing is I'm on the same PC I printed mine on? TIA
I've had the same problem for a fortnight, cant get it to work (dont know much about facebook really) so I just set up another facebook account and it worked ok. Although there is probably a much easier answer than this as it took me about 40mins just to creat a new account.:rotfl::rotfl:I'd like to teach the World to sing in perfect Harmony:j

I think that has something to do with your FB account settings, I'm not very tech minded (or even sure if that's correct lol) but I'm sure someone will be along soon who'll be able to help you...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

Hmm ok I think if you go to Account Settings, then choose Security on the left hand side, then disable secure browsing it may work....Or I could be totally wrong
Just realised that you edited your post to say you got it allready :rotfl:...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

That's if you want to max the number of pots. I'm mainly interested in using 2 coupons with 2 pots when on BOGOF to get the rest off my shopping bill. Gave 4 pots away and hubby actually tried 2 (piri piri and thai) - he thought they were decent quality, but massively overpriced. OK for free though.
Washed the pots out and will re-use for freezing stuff. :money:

ETA: Managed to get around it by logging out of FB and trying it, which seems to let me in ok as you have to "register" with Philadelphia anyway.0 -

The iteim cost £3.31 and the voucher used was £2, now I want to return the iteim do I need tell them I use a £2 voucher? Legal speaking do ask £3.31 as they will still have my voucher and claim monies from manufacture or can I ask for my voucher back?
Hi! Don't worry about it. I once had to return a product I'd used a voucher for and all went superfine at Customer Service. Especially since on receipt it just says coupon without specifying what it was used for, they can't even tell. Plus, you're right, they're still getting the money back form manyfacturer since they get to keep the voucher. It can seem a bit daunting, but it's very likely that all will go ever so smoothly. Good luck!0
