    I've been Money Tipped!
    Good morning.

Did manage to use a few Veg Pots coupons last night, but only had the ones for £1 and used 2 coupons. Got £1.79 off my bill and took advantage to get some Sanex - so free Veg Pots and cheap deoderant.
Thought I'd lost the free ones, but "silly billy" me had left them next to the printer and hadn't even cut them out!!!
Sainsbury's put the 2 through no bother, but wouldn't try the S/S tills with a high value coupon.
Try again later, might go for more deoderants rather than a reduction on say a bottle of wine - that's assuming they take the 2 coupons again with the BOGOF. 6 coupons, so potentially 3 x £3.79's to come off my bill - fingers crossed.

Can these Veg Pots be frozen?? Gave the 2 away I got yesterday as too much food to use up and away on hols next weekend so don't want loads in the fridge.

Have a great couponing weekend and be lucky.

    Hi Kerri

You need to get an assistant that will enter the second one manually, dont know why this is because when I was buying 20 carton of Ocean Spray at a time this was not the case but last week and yesterday when I was buying the Fairy the assistant couldn't get the second coupon to scan automatically.

    Maybe they have new restrictions.
yes remember a couple of weeks ago a woman made the news by scamming them with loads of duplicates.. if you buy 2 ask them to put the second thru manually if that fails (and it never has for me) go to customeer services desk on way out and they will refund you if you give them the voucher

  • morning, had a great shop y'day, used all my mocs, sa told me they had had a memo from head office telling them that after 31st oct they would cease taking competitors conditional spends, so looks like its official, ;-( she didnt mention the APG's so fingers crossed they will continue. if not we will still manage as we did after " black friday"

  • Does anyone know if M's or A's sell the veg pots. Got mine from T's last time but went yesterday to get some more to be told they've stopped selling them  My nearest S's Is over an hour away. TIA

On a coupon note, not printable though. The lidl leaflet that comes through the door has a coupon for 24 pack of cushelle toilet roll for £4.99 when you spend £30 instore. T&C's says The £30 can include the full price of the cushelle £9.99 before the coupon is applied.

  • Cheers, will check in Morries then :D

Its not a new thing. It seems to be JUST the SSM coupons that are an issue.I have used ocean spray, colgate, sanex in multiples but any time i try to use the
SSM coupons a warning comes up on the till saying only 1 per transaction which is wrong.Had a helpful SA show me.Perhaps a really helpful SA will get round it but she did suggest that there was not a lot she could do about this.
So unfortunatly quite difficult to capitalise on the offer :(

Thanks chattmum. 4 pots to use or get rid of. lol

Had mixed results so far today with Veg Pots.

1st two went through OK and £3.79 off shopping, more Sanex's etc.
2nd two they would only accept 1 coupon as they are on BOGOF, so free pots but had to pay for rest of shopping.

Left with and odd free coupon now, but do have a half price one - need to get lucky though!!!!
