I've had an email - I asked them to send me their updated coupon policy - it's exactly the wording we've already seen:Our new coupon policy is:
From Monday, 31 October we will no longer accept coupons from other retailers. This includes all types of coupons issued by Sainsbury’s, ASDA, Morrison’s, Waitrose, Marks and Spencer, Co-op and Aldi etc, including their spend and save, Brand Match and Price Guarantee vouchers.
We have made this change because:
- We are committed to helping our customers spend less and always having the best price on their favourite brands and on our own label ranges.
- We have already dropped the price on the nation’s shopping list with over 3000 ‘Price Drops’ which are simple and straightforward. Everyone saves, every basket gets cheaper and we want to continue investing in great prices for our customers rather than in refunding our competitors’ vouchers.
- We have been the only retailer to accept competitor coupons.
The new Tesco coupon policy is simple - we accept all Tesco and supplier /product coupons as long as the customer has purchased the product. We will continue to issue, and therefore accept, Tesco Price Check coupons as well as invest a huge amount in rewarding our customers through Tesco spend & save and Clubcard points coupons
The bold italics are mine as thats the only bit that is really relevant.
I too like the grey for the 'gone...' section - much easier to take in at a glance :T0 -

Farmville, your coupons would be part of your payment - as long as your final total is over the required £40 before you start ringing through coupons, then that's OK0 -
No Sacla for 99p in my Mr T - in fact went armed with loads of coupons for various things and only ended up able to give 3. I envy those people who can go to supermarkets every day - I can only go once a week which makes it much harder to keep track of prices and where's best to use coupons.
Much prefer the front pages - sometimes people stick with the way things have always been but there can often be slight improvements which help everyone.
P.S. Wish some store would have Honey shreddies on offer - got a few coupons printed out and missed out on the free ones at Mr T.It's 5 o'clock somewhere!0 -

Don't worry , I'm the same ... I posted the Sacla grabbit and STILL haven't even managed to get ONE myself! :rotfl:
No honey shreddies for me either , all gone by the time I made it to my T's BUT I am a busy person and honestly couldn't be arsked to trawl round the supermarkets every day ..... Like to think I'd have better things to do!!!!!!0
