Hi
Just wondering has anyone used or experience of any of the local shops that you can sell mother of bride outfits too or leave them to be sold. My mum has at least a couple of outfits and she would like to leave them in somewhere thinking about taking her in next week or so. I live in Belfast, she is from Ballymena, so within travelling distance
Thanks

I know there are some shops locally that sell this type of thing and take a cut of profit, kind of think they would be easier sold this way. Just wondering has anyone used any of these shops.0

There is a shop on the Bloomfield Road in Belfast. Its called Rich Rags Tel: 02890 471418. Think there may be somewhere on Lisburn Road too.0

i think there's a shop in Moira, my friend's mum looked there 4her outfit. I think if it sells, you get a part of the profit?? Not sure of address or any other details i'm afraid though - hope this helps0

I don't know specifically about Ireland or mob outfits.
Our local dress agency shops take stuff only when in season. Their pricing starts at about half of the cost of the item new, which means that the private individual gets only a quarter of the value back (shop keeps the other quarter). Ours gives a receipt of goods handed in and a date by which it's either sold (around 4 - 6 weeks) or you can take the goods back. It works well for me because I would just give the clothes away otherwise. Have to be in pristine condition. (They are also great to buy from).:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -
The Moira shop (called Another Chance, I think) takes MOB - a friend got her outfit there for her son's wedding. I think it keeps 50% of the proceeds.0
