I am a discharged bankrupt with no debt apart from my £250 Vanquis card. I am wanting to invest in a property within the next year. Does anyone know what companies would entertain someone who is

- got a small deposit,
- wants buy to let

As you have been discharged some years and the BR no longer showing on your credit reports you will probably be able to find a mortgage to suit you. However, I think most applications do ask if you have 'ever' been BR and you will need to answer 'yes' to that question.
Probably the best route to go down would be a reputable independant financial advisor who will have access to a wider range of products.When I joined, I needed a name. The forum members gave one to me...I am INAN
