Won't bother as I got 6 Aqua optima filter cartridges for £5-31 a few weeks ago as part of a Currys clearance. The price included 3 Logik water jugs as well and IMHO, the Aqua optima cartridges are much superior to the Brita ones.

My currys clearance was terrible, there was nothing at all, but oh well, life goes on

Pack of 4 Brita Maxtra is £8 at Morrisons.
I checked in Amazon the optima evolve (which fits Brita) pack of 3 is 6.66£(incl deliv).

I use Brita Maxtra filters. I understand that Aqua Optima Evolve filters fit Brita Jugs that use Maxtra filters.

I'm happy to consider using Aqua Optima Evolve filters, if the price is right, & there is at least one objectively conducted review that shows that Aqua Optima Evolve filters are as good as Brita Maxtra filters.

If anyone can provide a link to such a review, I will be grateful.

Do Brita still sell the original cartridges. I've got a couple of the jugs which are old but have no cartridges and I think they are the old type, not the Maxtra. I haven't seen the original cartridges for sale anywhere. Just the Maxtra. They had a Brita water event at Costco recently, some good deals there but didn't get anything.

Try wilkinsons - they do the brita ones, and their own brand universal ones as well.
