Hello all, bit of a random one this!
I got a reduced Christmas Cake mix from Tescos which was too cheap to miss for a fruitcake lover like me, but it came with a bag of roughly chopped walnuts to add along with the dried fruit. I hate walnuts so I left them out and added some more fruit, but now I've got this bag with probably about 100g of chopped walnuts and haven't a clue what to do with them. None of my housemates like walnuts either but I don't want to just throw them out if I can find a use for them. So any suggestions of something you can do with walnuts where they would be diguised or different enough to appeal to a walnut-hater?

Put them in a banana loaf, they add texture and the taste of banana over powers the taste of walnutsWith Love From The Mistress xx

Try making pesto with them - whizz up basil, parmesan, garlic, olive oil and the nuts in a food processor.0

Two excellent suggestions! I've got some almost overripe bananas so I think I'll give the banana loaf a go. Thank you both!0
