Could be that a product fee is worth paying if it saves enough money over the term. Why begrudge a fee if it saves money?

It is not just product fee, you also have valuation and legals
You need to look at the overall costs.
Also these days followon rates for any promotional products and a risk assesment of future remortgage are important factors.0
