Hi
Im in the process of setting up a DMP which is worrying me sick, to add to this Im worried what will happen when the fixed rate on my mortgage runs out in october.
The interest rate will obviously be higher which will affect what i have available to pay my creditors.
Im with Nationwide , how likely is it they will even offer me another decent mortgage rate?
Im worried about losing my home, not being able to get another mortgage , has anyone had any experience of this?
would be really grateful for any advice

try nationwide, just give their mortgage dept a ring and say as your discount coming to an end can they offer you another period at special rate.
I am with Abbey first 2yr dis, then another 2 yr dis and now on 3 yr dis. No paperwork or form filling to be done they just send out new details. Hope this works for you and saves you any hassleTOTAL 44 weeks lose. 6st 9.5lb :T0 -
Hi,
I'm on a DMP and am currently arranging my remortage through Who's Lending (sister company of payplan) Off hand I can't remember the rate of interest that we got but its a fixed deal for three years and was relatively competitive. ( Ithought that we'd end up paying massive interest on it, but it wasn't the case.) The application process initally was fine but the whole process has taken ages (currently 13 weeks and still awaiting completion) Just allow yourself plenty of time before the fixed rate deal runs out.
