    Thank you all very much for your replies.. I saw my dad earlier and he said that he had been unable to get hold of his bank manager yet..

    I havent asked him to do this.. he has this way of trying to *save* his girls.. bless him.
    But I know exactly what you all mean.. thats whats been bugging me..(today).. I just would rather not do it.

    Im quite happy to pay off my own debts myself.. (ive told him that) I just dont know how and when yet..

    and you are absolutely right.. If something happened to me.. or I lost my job etc.. its all him HIS name.. and that would be so unfair.

    I will speak to him tomorrow THANK-you :)
