We have never striked over anything.

Infact we are unique where our orgasnisation is not strictly in the public sector as we are 100% self-funding but report to the Government.

and are your pension funds self funded?

:rotfl:Lets see the bulls try to gloat about this.

I do feel quite sorry for our older posters.

Erm, Can't say I've noticed a correlation between 'the bulls' and being positive about pensions. Indeed thats why many think property is a better bet.

    I'll bet you've got a pension though....

Makes you think when you hear about all the public sector workers talking about going on strike about changes to their pensions.

I am a public sector worker (university lecturer) it would be crazy for me to go on strike. Not only would I not be paid for that day but I would still have to do the lecture preparation etc in my own time unpaid afterwards. Obviously I wouldn't strike on a lecture delivery date as my students would miss out.

Most of them are probably home owners anyhow so no sorrow necessary.

Most of them are homeowners with pensions.

Though not as much of a pension as they once thought.

Erm, Can't say I've noticed a correlation between 'the bulls' and being positive about pensions.

The correlation is between bulls generally ignoring the exponentially worsening economic situation whilst foaming and gnashing over their discredited interpretations of housing data.

Pensions are of course part of that economic mess. ;)

You have to laugh at the games the bulls play.
Particularly as there appears to be significant proportion of them getting to pensionable age.
