I had a nice meal last night and feel I should share.....

Had a nice pasta dish last night and feel the urge to share it (although it may already be somewhere on the recipe index list!)

Browned some sausages (irish recipe ones - yellow stickered of course - and cut up into pieces) with some smart price bacon pieces. Bunged in a tin of campbells condensed tomato soup (99% fat free) and then added some cooked pasta. Put in a large oven dish and then put in the oven with some grated cheese on top and allow to crisp.

served with crusty bread - exactly what was required by hubbie and me on a cold wintery night ;0) The sausage and bacon through the pasta was lovely....

I sometimes do something similar with sausages but use tomato sauce and often add a skinned red pepper-if they are cheap of course

That addition of a red pepper sounds nice - will maybe try that next time as well. :-)

I do a similar thing. I use sausages, bacon, baked beans, pasta and peas and sweetcorn. I throw in mushrooms when I've got those too. Even the kids love it!
