Hi folks, another question I need help with, Yesterday I received a postcard asking me to call an 01254 number urgently mon- fri between 7am and 8pm. Theres a p.o. box no. in Preston on the card too, Im scared to phone incase its a scam, but Im curious incase its something else, has anyone had one of these, what could it be? Is there any way I can search online to see who has sent it/what its about, ?

Maybe a failed delivery? 01254 is a standard geographic number (Blackburn, from memory) so no problem there.

Have you tried Googling the full phone number?

Was it just an ordinary postcard or a proper missed parcel card from Royal Mail, Citylink etc? If you were worried you could always hide your number or ring from a phone box. Was there no website or any other distinguishing marks on it? Try googling the PO Box too. Could be a meter reader.

try putting the phone number in google see if it comes up with anything

Hi folks, thanks fr your advice, I found out, it was a legitimate card to say one of my cards had expired that I paid an account with.....used my old one ....doh!!! I want to thankyou but my thanks button has disappeared, will thank when it re-appears xxx
