Virgin One Account - Change to T&C's - Banking Code

Hi,
With my September Virgin One Account statement I received a change to the terms and conditions which reads:
Condition 13 has been amended and now reads as follows:
"The Banking Code" is no longer in force."
I tried googling "The Banking Code" and didn't find much information. It looks like it's been replaced with "The Lending Code" but as the T&C's don't state that it's been replaced I'm wondering what the upshot of this will be?
Finally I assume this change wouldn't affect any future claims made via the Financial Ombudsman (or am I wrong here?).
Many thanks for any help anyone can offer... :-)
Cheers!

It is not likely to stop previous claims that are valid, I would imagine it has been put in place to prevent a new card holder looking to make a claim in the future.0

Thanks for your reply but what could result from the fact that "The Banking Code is no longer in force" for my offset mortgage?0

The Banking Code was superseded by the FSA Payment Services Regulations in November 2009.
From your perspective will make no difference.0
