a friend of mine had a car she did not keep up the paymeants and the car was taken away she has had a letter saying she now owns £4000 she has offerd a paymeant of £75.00 a week and the debt agents said no thay wanted paymeant in full or half now and the rest £75.00 a week what can she do help help help thanks

She needs to have a look at the terms and conditions of the loan agreement she signed. They may be just trying to scare her, but it will depend on how much of the original sum she has paid off and how far through the loan she is. Tell her not to panic as lenders do not really want the hassle of disposing of a used car through an auction and would rather come to some sort of payment plan. She needs to keep to it, though, so ask her to make sure it is realistic.I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.0
