  • We are here for you - i have been there done it so i know how it feels - i'm sure you will get great support from the MSE community!

As for doing things with little'un it doesn't always have to cost - or if it does save it for an extra special treat. To be honest the main thing kiddies appreciate is playtime with mummy, much more than toys and stuff, so don't feel guilty about that. My little one is only 8 months but will play with me for hours on end but only for about 20mins at a time with her toys. Drawing and reading and even home-made picnics at the park are much more enjoyable for my nephews who are 3 and 6.

Once you have a plan set up try and cut up the credit cards, change the phone to Pay and go (always keep £10 on it and vow to only use it when absolutely neccessary), also look at changing your car for something a little less fuel guzzleing when poss. If you are determined (even through the hiccups that will prob occour) then yopu will be on the way to the light at the end of this tunnel.

My main peice of advice to you is learn from your mistakes - do not even attempt to begin accepting credit or from catalogues etc when you are sorting yourself after. As i always say most credit is evil and not worth the hassle. The things you buy on credit initially are the impulse buys that you dont need let alone will want in a few months time - this is how i got in a mess.

If you ever want a chat just private message me and i'll give you my email addy.

Take care hun - but don't fret because it'll only make you feel worse - just realise you are now determined to make a change and go for it!

    xx
