I bought 3 pairs online at sportsdirect the other day when there was free P&P. £1.50 a pair absolute bargain. Had them before, and they are very good - warm and toastie, so will see me through the winter. They do sell them in the stores, but think they are £2.50 a pair.

    HTH

wonder if you can help, I am looking at the ski socks but they don't have sizes on, they have ladies for £2 and mens for £1.50, I found a code for free delivery on HUD but I need to know what shoe size they will fit :) I just can't see anything about the size

Ordered two pairs.Look very good quality. (Thought I'd get hubby a pair also!). Both pairs 6 & 9 are fine.A little big around the ankles but, feel this will be resolved with wearing the right socks. Many thanks to poster. Good price for decent boots.:T

Has anyone else noticed, the steel colour tends more toward brown than the dark grey I expected? Though I do like the colour they are. (My sister sees some browns as grey so maybe I'm not seeing the colour the right way?)

Where can we buy ski socks from :) could do with a pair :)

I normally get thick socks from markets. Fatface often have nice ones but they are quite pricy.
Public appearances now involve clothing. Sorry, it's part of my bail conditions.

They don't have a size as such, just the fact they are either 18" or 24" long - I have size 3 feet, so alway go for the 24" ski socks, and they come to just under my knee. Can't stand having cold legs and feet in the winter. HTH
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000

Ordered the black ones for DH and a pair of boots from the sale for me. Told DH and he wasn't that fussed but he was really happy when they arrived. He likes that they are fleece lined so will keep his feet nice and warm. Past few years we have been snowed in so its a daily chore going out to clear the road so we can get out. Now HE will be toasty while HE does u=it and I won't feel so guilty watching :D

I don't like my boots though...
  • Ordered some for my mum but they are way to heavy for her to walk in! So gonna need to return them but giong to be very expencive with royal mail as they are so heavy, any other way to return them?

    Thanks

    jo
  • Thanks OP and also to other posters for advice on sizes coming up big, would have ordered my usual and had the hassle of returns if you hadnt said anything! I tested them out today and am really happy with size, snugness and price.
Ski socks are also quite cheap at Matalan (dont forget cashback and 20 per cent off code in Martins deals page)

got them and some warm insoles for 1.75 to tide me over for my first northern winter!
