Hi guys,
This question really should not need asking these days but I have searched the web and made numerous calls and no one can help...
Biofuels for home heating. Basically it is exactly the same as biodiesel but without the treasury taking such a massive lump. Does anyone know of an NI supplier and/or have any idea about the cost?

Between buying the WVO or SVO and the cost of the chemicals to produce bio I cant see how a company could make a viable profit on it.
Then theres always the chance your burner may need adjusted.0 -

I din't think there is much tax on heating oil unlike Road diesel?
Just VAT at 5%0 -

I am now working for a chemical company and it really isn't that expensive to make... once you have the infrastructure, profit should be there. Unfortunately we don't have the above and I can't be bothered trying so I am happy to pay for finished product.
It is actually for a non-fuel application so no worries about burner adjustment.ballyblack wrote: »I din't think there is much tax on heating oil unlike Road diesel?

That is what I mean... I know that there are some petrol stations with road fuel but that has 20p in the pound tax... so I want the non-taxed heating oil option!Always overestimating...0
