    Already been done.

I don't get why anyone would have a problem dressing a child in a witch, the outfits aren't scary they're cute. Home bargains has a ribbon witch outfit and it's just a frilly dress with a cute littlehat.

Hi its for my daughter - she hates anything frilly and won't wear any thing with netting on - not sure where the idea that Halloween is wrong now came from but thanks for the tips :D

Make her a costume, so much more fun and surprisingly easy to make a witches out from old clothes. I found an old satin waist slip that I opened on on seam and we then painted it with gold and silver paint using potato stencils. The skirt was an old black gypsy skirt taken in and then her own black top and a witches hat and broom and she was done. She wore the cape for a good few years and it's away in the dressing up box for my grandchildren:D

My only issue with Halloween is that some of the costumes and stuff around the night can be scary for very young children and give them nightmares.

The [STRIKE]begging[/STRIKE] trick or treating is a bit of a pain but you don't have to answer your door!:rotfl::rotfl:
