Yodel Missed Delivery

I went out for all of 10 mins today to find a card from yodel with a missed delivery of 3 parcels. Not expecting anything apart from a play tent, so I wonder what they can be... Any ideas mse'rs??

They haven't left it in your recycling bin have they? They did that to someone else on here and the parcel went off with the recycling van never to be seen again!

Or even in your black bin. They did that to us recently. EEEwwwwwwwww. good job the items were well wrapped :eek:

Good lord! no apparently its going back to the centre which is about 30 miles away!

ps the Yodel delivery/pick up system is a disaster! there were many angry people waiting at the depot who had been seriously messed about

I would avoid yodel like the plague in future, as in my experience, they say they will deliver something on a date and 3 days in a row it 'hasn't been put on the van'. On another order they said they had tried to deliver something and they hadn't as I had been in all day (for the 14 hours that they told me was the standard timeframe). Also after they had let me down 3 times with different promises (it will def be there by 12, by 5, by 7) they told me they would get a manager to ring me- guess what: it never happened.
When the same thing happened to my mum she asked to speak to a manager and was told she couldn't as they would only tell her the same thing anyway! Oh and we spent more money on phonecalls than the item was worth at 10p per minute!!!

Avoid if possible!!!!

I had an email saying the play tent was not being sent out (another fault ) and that we were getting a £20 toys r us voucher instead.

I had a delivery from Yodel this week - they left a card with the "Left in a safe place" box ticked

Turns out they'd thrown it over the side gate......

The package was my 2 Grants whisky glasses that I won a few months ago - luckily they were really well packed as they'd been thrown over a 6ft high gate !! (hardly a "safe place" !)

grrr i hope the new tent isnt faulty my 3 yr old has just fell asleep inside his when did u receive your email ??

Yesterday Mandy. It says to discard them and they are sending out £20 tys r us vouchers. They have been withdrawn again in case sharp parts become exposed
