mortgage with bad credit?

hi i am new on here and i was wondering if anyone could advise me on where i could get a 100% mortgage with bad credit. i have bad credit due to bank charges, missed payments on credit cards and defaults. i know that natwest do a 100% mortgage at a 2 yr fixed rate, but have no idea if i'd even be considered.
mine and my partners income totals 22,000 ~(i work part time), we have never missed a rent payment (£500) in the 3 years we have been together, so i dont know if that would be in our favour.
this mortgage would be for a shared ownership property so i would only need a mortgage of about £65-70,000.
any advise would be much appreciated, thanks in advance.

Hi mbloom - welcome along here!
Do you currently have any debts? Have you pulled copies of your credit reports? You will need to look at this to get an idea of just how good or bad your credit is.
Normally 100% mortgages are for people with squeaky clean credit records, which is why it's important to look at yours. How much were the defaults for, and are they now satisfied / paid?

Dont be scared to get your credit report, I was turned down for all sorts of stuff, only when i got it, did i find out someone had fraudulanty tried to open a bank account in my name leaving me with a CIFCAS warning.
Im trying to get it removed, it may drop off after a year though.
