Just had a young lad from Talk Talk (well,Skye Marketing) call at my door to tell me my exchange was being upgraded but not to worry..Didn't show any form of ID at all & then he started into the sales spiel...Asked if I had BBand ect so I just told him I wasn't interested & I wouldn't touch them with a bargepole.
So anyone in the Donaghadee area,be prepared!

They're in Carrick at the moment as well. A woman called twice with us in the one day, just started straight into sales spiel, no saying where she was from. I had to peer at her name badge to see (she was standing two steps down from our front door). She had a hard job understanding we're not interested!!!

We've had Virgin Media here in Belfast... 3 times we had guys at the door, despite the fact we already have Virgin

  • I regularly get Sky. One young "lady" sneered at me telling me I was the only one of my neighbours who was still behind the times and not connected to their marvellous system. I laughed and said I was glad to be different and didn't want to waste any more of her precious time as I would not spend hundreds of pounds a year to pay Sky for TV which I rarely watched. She dropped her sneer and looked instead like she might spit at me so I closed the door. Where do they get them from? :rotfl:

I too often get the Sky ones...HELLOOO...Did you see the big satellite dish on the front of my houssseee????Problem is they're paid on commision only,so they think that by you refusing it's you that's stopping them earning a wage imho..
