Free mobile phone contracts

I am quite new to this website and have not had a good look at what has already been posted on the sight so if i am putting this in the wrong place or somebody has already posted it i appologise.

The link below is one way of finding a contract that suits you.

Once you sign up to a contact it works by charging you a monthly amount as any other contract will, but allows you to claim it back periodically through the year so if you only use your free texts and minutes the phone is absolutely free. Even if you use more, it will still be a very cheap option.

I think they make their money by making the claim process very specific, for example it has to be done in a certain way and at a certain date or it is missed. However if you are organised and can set reminders of when to do this, you should not have any problems.

People interested in mobile contracts can go through quidco, topcashback etc for extra cashback in addition the claims cashback provided by the mobile vendor.

Reestit's site is regularly featured on MSE in the Mobile Phone section.

Although it is an affiliate site and Reestit gets paid per sale, MSE still allows the links (because they get a % of reestits comission).

Have done this and it works well if you are organised. Most people aren't (I heard that as many as 70% don't claim) which is where they make their money.

You usually have to send some of your bills back (4th, 8th and 12th for me) within a set period (30-60) days of receiving. I sent mine recorded just to be safe.

I could not keep my number and you will need to remember to cancel the free insurance (if provided) and contract within 12 months if you don't want to pay anything.

The other pitfall to beware is that the companies CAN put you on contract with a network provider and subsequently go bust leaving you without cashback, so it is not without risk.

Carphone Warehouse occasionally do these and I personally think that these are quite a safe bet, although beware that no such deal is without risk!
