    I am exactly the same but am determined to get better!

    Just made a banana loaf because I had lots of over-ripe bananas due to not having been at work this week (usually have one in my lunchbox each day!) and I just know that it won't see tomorrow afternoon....I will pick and pick and nibble and suddenly it will be gone. No wonder my diets never work...

    I have a three tier Tala cake tin I found in a jumble sale years ago, but they are still made. Deep tier for a cake, narrower tier for 12 small cakes, top tier for biscuits or scones. That's what my mum told me anyway!

    I've also got a selection of biscuit tins for baking and the most recent useful find was the discovery that the big red tubs that Celebrations come in are freezer, micro and dishwasher proof. They make excellent storage for home baking.

    I use empty biscuit tins too, I'll be buying a deep tin of biscuits or sweets this christmas and I'll keep the tin, pass most of the choc or biscs to ds and ddil

    I freeze sliced cakes, tarts, quiches etc; frozen pastry is fragile so I freeze in plastic boxes.
    ... don't throw the string away. You always need string! :D

    Another one here who uses lock'n'locks :D
    I also save a couple of new sweet tins at xmas for biscuits and weird shaped things which need a bit more room..:rotfl:

    I generally batch bake and slice large cakes,pleat easyleave from lakelands between each slice then wrap in foil and freeze..
    I leave a few slices of each out in a lock and lock for variety,same with kids cakes,leave an assortment in their tub and freeze the rest.

    erm...when I make cakes they seem to be eaten straight away - kids eh?! I spend hours baking them & they all vanish between them & pals!
