Credit file washing after bankrupcy

I was declared bankrupt in 2008 and subsequently discharged in 2009. I read on the insolvency website that all debts are cancelled upon bankruptcy. All my creditors removed the selves from my credit file in 2008 with the exception of O2, who still show as a defaulted account, and Hillesden, acting fir Cahoot, who still show as a defaulted account. Am I right in saying that following bankruptcy, these creditors have a statutory obligation to remove the debts from my credit file, or is it the credit reference agencies who are obliged to remove the details.

No they don`t remove the default, but the default date should not be later than your BR. Have a look here,
