    I didn't see QT last night and I'm not exactly a fan of Billy Bragg's music or political views, but I'll fire up iPlayer to hear him say that. Fair play to him for doing so.
    30 Year Challenge : To be 30 years older. Equity : Don't know, don't care much. Savings : That's asking for ridicule.

    He did also say that the way out of our current problems was to pay everyone higher wages.

    Like Dave C's comments about paying off credit cards, not a bad idea in principle, but paying off debt and paying higher wages is not exactly going to be easy or possible in the middle of an economic storm.

    What is it with these "clever" people ? They come out with these sensible ideas after the event. We are now paying the price for the "fun" we were having a few years ago. A few of us said we would, but those who were having a good time were taking no notice.

    Not so great for pensioners & Retirees, or those close to the same.
