They do not deduct the promotional points, only the 'normal ones'

Can anyone help please? I gather from this post that there is a bonus points offer this weekend. It seems to be £10 worth of points for every £50 you spend. Is that the same as the shopping evening points offer? Apologies for asking -- I have really lost my Boots mojo this past year or so and have totally forgotten how it all works.
