Nobody I think is passing judgement with your situation. I believe you've never heard of someone using up their paid sick leave & then within 12 months being off sick again & not getting paid....but believe me it happens, I've seen it. Employers do not give an open ended commitment to pay you when you're off sick....that's why the details are in your contract...it's usually a sliding scale dependant on length of service. Don't wait for your employer to phone you with suggestions about returning to work, phone them yourself... be proactive and see if you can come to some agreement.
How long have you worked for your current employer & how long have you been off work.0 -
This probably isn't the way to go but you can claim off a house insurance policy for an accident in the home. Thats if it wouldn't cause you problems with your mum and dad and of course they have insurance. It would cover your loss of earnings and financial circumstances you find yourself in.
EDIT : sorry already posted.0 -

So your mother is the one that receives the court summons telling her how negligent she is and how much pain and suffering she has caused you because she is such so terrible.
You are perfectly entitled to do it but I have seen marriages ended because of it... letters etc that are involved are not friendly
He's not married to his mother is he?
It was just a thought - when needs must if he is in the s**t financially.
After all it was his mother who polished the floor and caused his accident.

I also had simlar prob at work where was off for 2 months only got company sick pay for 20 days off work then SSP, and that from one of UKs largest businesses - so not many companies will apy full/sick pay for long. the only good thing is they hav e insurance for staff pay for if reach 6 mths off get half pay then but would still mean 5 months on stat sick pay.
Can you not get a reduction in council tax as got less money coming in, with only 70.05 a week you should be entitlement to some sort of benefit i would have guessed.
Cases like this highlight why insurance for yourself can pay off to cover all the bills like mortgage and utility bills.Debt free, except mortgage since 2021
