To promote the fun of reading, we’ll be giving away 2,000 copies of The Ruins of Gorlan, the first book in the international best-selling series, Ranger’s Apprentice by John Flanagan. Children can come in to any Westminster lending library and pick up a free copy - while stocks last, of course, so don’t delay!
This is part of a nationwide project Random House Children’s Books are running over the summer and autumn. The Rangers Apprentice series is a New York Times bestseller, it is the third biggest series in the US after Harry Potter and Percy Jackson, and has sold over 4 million copies worldwide. Film rights have been optioned to Paul Haggis, Oscar-award-winning filmmaker of Million Dollar Baby and Crash.
